#daleVIDAalplastico

Our Guzmán Polymers team met, not only to learn about the different wastes that can be found in the ocean, but also to collect them together with Sanamares. 🤝

In recent years, hundreds of marine species have become extinct. The sea is so vastly polluted that the sea life is endangered of dying!

Most of the abandoned waste ends up in the seas, where waves and wind erode it into tiny fragments known as microplastics. These particles of  less than 5 mm  are trapped within the oceanic gyres, forming large floating garbage patches like the one in the North Pacific; the largest in the plastic island with 1.6 million km 2  and weighing 80,000 tons.

Our Guzmán Polymers team joined up, not only to learn about the different types of wastes that can be found in the ocean, but also to collect it together with the Sanamares organization. 🤝

Thank you to our team and to the Sanamares group for your time and we hope to continue with more beach cleanups together! Together we can take care of our planet.
